St Petersburg, FL

The Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement

The Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement (MAACM) is an absolute must see in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida. This 137,000-square-foot museum includes a skillfully crafted 5-story feature wall, one of a kind radius stairwell, and a jaw-dropping curved ceiling in the main theatre. Funding was provided by philanthropist, businessman, and avid art collector himself, Rodolfo (Rudy) Ciccarello, with one goal in mind; build a space that draws your attention even from the sidewalk. Beautifully crafted exterior wood ceiling paneling flows from outside to inside with a magnificent indoor-outdoor feel. This is the one and only museum in the world dedicated to the American Arts & Crafts movement.
