The Jacobs Music Center at Copley Hall

Originally opened in 1929 as The Fox Theatre, the Jacobs Music Center at Copley Hall underwent a major renovation to transform the 95-year-old auditorium into a modern performance venue while honoring its historic legacy. The project included detailed upgrades to the hall’s acoustics, stage, seating, audiovisual systems, and both lobby and back-of-house areas.

ISEC helped preserve the venue’s iconic character by delivering high-end interior finishes and custom millwork that blended historic restoration with contemporary design. Our scope also supported the integration of acoustical treatments and infrastructure critical to achieving world-class sound performance. In addition to millwork, ISEC furnished and installed doors, frames, hardware, and miscellaneous specialties that enhanced both the function and elegance of this cultural landmark.
