Hyattsville, MD

PGCP Forensic Lab

ISEC partnered with Prince George’s County Police Department to deliver a new forensics lab, providing lab casework and specialty equipment designed to support complex forensic operations. The scope included fixed casework, mobile benches, and integrated systems such as local fume extractors, biosafety cabinets, and more than 20 fume hoods.

Completed during the Covid-19 pandemic, the project required navigating supply chain disruptions, vendor escalation, and complex trade coordination tied to a highly customized scope. ISEC’s ability to manage multiple scopes and problem solve in the field ensured an efficient mobilization and a high-quality installation, resulting in a state-of-the-art facility that expands the county’s capacity for DNA, ballistics, and evidence processing in support of the justice system.
