Project Description
Tactical Operation. Divided into four separate entities, with two of the largest being a new addition, and the other a remodel of an occupied existing hospital, the San Antonio Military Medical Center required detailed planning and clear communication between multiple trades. This project represented one of the single largest projects in San Antonio and is ISEC’s largest contract to date exceeding $30 million. ISEC deployed a first class team of (8) operation staff and an installation force of over (50) carpenters to execute the finishes on a compressed schedule. The vast scope included (30) specification sections from expansion joints to medical equipment. Fourteen months into the construction cycle, ISEC was asked to take over the interior architectural woodwork contract from the initial subcontractor. ISEC’s Commitment to Customer, Teamwork, Safety and Integrity were demonstrated throughout the execution of this high profile hospital. Mission Accomplished.
