This award-winning library project consisted of seismic and tenant improvements to three different buildings from different eras. ISEC provided carpentry and architectural woodwork for a variety of specialty items, including wood and leather doors and curtains 30 feet above the floor. A major challenge on this project was the preservation of wall murals and the salvaging and re-installation of historical items. Awards include Northwest Construction Consumer Council; Associated General Contractors of Washington Construction Excellence Award; and the AIA Library Buildings Award.
