Commercial Construction Salesperson is needed the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Our corporate headquarters and Rocky Mountain regional office is in Englewood, CO with other regional offices in Seattle WA, Columbia MD, San Francisco CA, Los Angeles CA, San Diego CA, Phoenix AZ, and Milwaukee WI.

ISEC is currently seeking a commercial construction salesperson for our Columbia, MD office.

We are a single source interior trades subcontractor, with full-service capabilities to manage every phase, from design, engineering, estimating, purchasing and manufacturing to contract administration and installation.

This diverse capability allows us to participate in a variety of complex commercial trade packages.

Description:
This is a salaried position that will require travel primarily within the state of Maryland, Virginia and the Washington DC area as well as project specific travel to other east coast locations and periodic travel to our office in Englewood, CO.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop relationships with general contractors, construction managers, architects, owners and end-users as required.
2. Prequalify, track and pursue projects to bid.
3. Review plans, specifications and bid documents
4. Detailed risk and pricing analysis prior to submitting proposals
5. Close the orders.
6. May perform other duties as required or directed.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)Education/Experience
Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum of five years of sales and or project management experience in the commercial construction industry.
Have verifiable, established general contractor contacts and a successful sales/project management track record within the construction industry.

Knowledge/Skills
Excellent skills negotiating, relationship building and closing commercial construction projects. Able to review and understand architectural blueprints, specifications and general conditions. General commercial construction experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least five years work experience in the construction industry

Knowledge/Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Capable of working within set deadlines. Good computer skills. Goal oriented, self-motivated salesperson with the ability to work independently as well as a team member.
