Commercial Construction General Superintendent is needed for our San Diego Region.

ISEC is currently seeking an General Superintendent to work out of our San Diego Region.

We are your single source interior trades contractor, with full-service capabilities to manage every phase, from design, engineering, estimating, purchasing and manufacturing to contract administration and installation.

• Architectural Woodwork
• Laboratory Casework and Equipment
• Ornamental Metals
• Door, Frames and Hardware
• Building Specialties.

This diverse capability allows us to participate in a variety of complex trade packages.

Position Summary
Supervisor or Manager responsible for the execution of a large construction or installation project or multiple projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Hiring, training and terminating a 50 to 60 person crew; including Foremen, Superintendent, Working Foremen, Carpenters, and Laborers
2. Interface with ISEC Operations Staff and Subcontractors
3. Prepare and keep up-to-date manpower look-ahead schedules outlining what each man will be doing for the next 2 weeks. Advise Supervisor of any need to increase or decrease crew size.

Knowledge/Skills
• 63 different specs sections of work including:
o Expansion Joints o Rough Carpentry
o AWW
o PL and Metal Casework
o Fume hoods o DFH, Specialty Doors, & Misc. Specialties

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
• High School Education or Equivalent of Education and Experience
• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction
• 5 years in supervising/running installation crews
• Must have experience and technical expertise with the products we are installing
• Union member where applicable
